I am a theoretical linguist with an interest in data elicitation and experimental methodologies. My research interests lie in syntax, semantics and their interfaces. I am especially interested in various morphological alternations.
I am a PhD candidate in linguistics at the Ohio State University (OSU). I earned my Research MA in Linguistics at Leiden University, the Netherlands.
I am currently writing my dissertation on disjunctive questions in Lithuanian at OSU. In the past, I have worked on Genitive of Negation in Russian and in Lithuanian, syntax and semantics of phrasal comparatives in Lithuanian and the prosody of presupposition projection in English.
I am also interested in learning different grammar formalisms and the way we can model the same linguistic phenomena. More specifically, I am currently working in Head-driven phrase structure grammar and Hybrid Type Logical Categorial Grammar.
